Jeff Goodman

Board Member

Engagement in the Jewish Community on a local and national scale has been a central component of my life since my teenage years as a regional officer in USY and member of Hillel at the University of Michigan. After arriving in Boston in the mid-1980’s, I have maintained continued Jewish communal involvement as a Board Member and officer of Temple Emanuel in Newton, a leader in AIPAC’s Boston chapter and member of AIPAC’s National Council, and Board Member of JCRC of Greater Boston. I have been a vocal advocate on behalf of Israel at a state, local and national level, and through that work have developed strong relationships among Massachusetts political leaders and across the New England Congressional Delegation. My wife, Molly, and I have traveled to Israel many times, including attendance at the Hartman Institute in the summer of 2024.

It is through JCRC that I met Mohammad and Michal. I had the pleasure of spending a day at Givat Havivah last July, where I was awestruck at the thoughtfulness of the staff and the purposeful nature of the mission. This visit inspired me to donate funds in 2024 and 2025, and I plan to continue to provide these resources moving forward. Having recently relocated from Boston to South Dartmouth, Massachusetts, I now find myself available to engage in new endeavors. Joining the Board of Friends of Givat Havivah would be a great honor.

My career was centered in commercial real estate, with a focus on the development, management, and financing of affordable housing communities across the United States. Among my endeavors, I was a project manager and general counsel at The Boston Land Company, general counsel and executive vice president of CWCapital, executive vice president of Walker & Dunlop, President of Wingate Capital, and Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, Multifamily, at Fannie Mae. It was a very fulfilling career.

Molly and I have two grown children, Sophie and Adam and enjoy sailing, travel, and entertaining our family and friends.
